The Orion Transit HUB based on the Sierra Wireless MP70, is a high performance, LTE-Advanced Pro vehicle router developed specifically for mobile mission critical applications in public safety, transit and field services.
Built for transit and field services, the Orion Transit HUB offers up to 300mbps downlink speeds and upload speeds of 150 Mbps over LTE-advanced with fall back to 3G networks, and up to 1.3 Gbps over 802.11ac Wi-Fi (with 3×3 MIMO) and Gigabit 4-port Ethernet.
The Orion Transit HUB can host up to 128 simultaneous Wi-Fi clients, and concurrently connect multiple business critical applications in and around the bus including laptops, DVRs and tablets, in addition to providing live video stream, and rapid and secure access to remote databased, such as route, scheduling and record management systems.

CCTV Applications – including ‘duress’ (image/video) gps
The addition of an image/ video stream is now possible with the Trbonet Dispatch Console application layer. A camera can be linked to a specific point on a map, a subscriber unit, or an iBeacon transmitter.
In the event of alarm from any of the subscribers, a video stream will be displayed from the nearest camera in a separate window on the Transdev Control Room via Trbonet.
